Central Wales

Central Wales

This event is one of the shorter events. Ideal for a half day or possibly an evening when the summers days are long.

Visiting all the Waypoints, including adventure, would take about 6hrs and cover 343kms is what the optimised Sat nav routing suggests and if you are sticking to the road then its 4hr 28min and 254km.

Centered in mid wales west and South of Llanidloes mainly in the Cambrian Mountains the riding here is amazing. Possibilities on this event include The Devils Staircase, and Devils bridge and to balance that there is a possibilty to visit a lonely Welsh Chapel! The famous Elan Valley also makes an appearance in this event.

Tight and twisty, grippy Welsh roads are a plenty as are niggly country lanes that may have some looser surfaces. There are also some adventure points that are mainly on Forestry roads or alongside one of the many lakes and if carefully researched would be an idea way to dip your toe off the tarmac.
